Python Scripting to supplement Ruby Scripting in ICM

Ruby scripts and SQL offer robust connections to all input parameters, tools, and model results for ICM InfoWorks and ICM SWMM, enhancing their utility and flexibility. Given Python's widespread recognition and use as one of the leading programmin...

Easier to interrogate log results file

In the review of a model we use the log results to identify whether the model has particular problems and review the overall mass balance. The log results are in text format and it is fairly annoying scrolling through the find the items needed. Co...

Different shape sluice or pipe/orifice closure option

We usually model closed gates as sluices, as they are the ones that can easily be closed (by setting the height to zero). The downside of this is that it can only be a rectangle (and it usually closes off a round pipe). An orifice now has the nice...

Allow to import generic (geo)TIFF into Spatial TSDB

Currently the only GeoTIFF standard supported in ICM Spatial TSDB is the MeteoGroup standard. But some Authorities in Germany deliver rainfall data as generic TIFF. It would be nice to extend the import feature to a generic GeoTIFF format.

Add the ability to drain subcatchments to the grate of a gully

When importing models from XPSWMM to ICM, my subcatchments drain directly to the node where an inlet capture curve is applied to limit flow to the 1d system. I would like to replicate this behavior easily in ICM when nodes are connected to the 2D ...

Show worst case analysis on long sections

I would like to be able to see the worst case across multiple simulations (highest water levels) along the 1d network when reviewing results. Essentially being able to visualize statistical report results in a long section.

Orifice to limit flow in both directions

A limiting discharge set on an orifice should limit flow in both directions. Currently, the orifice limits flow in the forward direction; however, flow can go in the reverse direction at an unlimited rate. Hydraulically, if there is a physical fea...
