Isolation Scenario Using Dummy Valves Which Do Not Split Pipes

Can you put a valve on top of a pipe (not splitting the pipe) and then it closes the section? And then anything enclosed to these multiple valves will be isolated? This is going to be useful for modelling of isolation scenarios

Improvements to "Edit Attributes" table

The "Edit Attributes" window (accessed by using the "Edit Selection" or "Edit Domain" buttons) is a useful table to quickly view and edit all the physical information for each facility type together. However, it has some useability issues that som...

Data Sets

It would be very helpful if, for any data set that is created by creating a clone of another data set, you could keep track of that. Perhaps a visually branched system of data sets to see if any of the sets were created based on another set. That ...

Improvements to custom DB table fields

1. Ability to modify the length of custom fields in the DB tables after they have been created. This is particularly a problem when you create a text field, but realize later it is too short. Another option would be to make the default text length...

Splitting pipe - surge wave speed not inherited

When splitting a pipe by inserting a node, the new pipe inherits the attributes of the original pipe (diameter, roughness, zone, material, etc). However, if the pipe has a wave speed assigned for surge modeling, the new pipe does not inherit the w...

Hydrant and valve placement optimization

Hi there, We have been discussing the valve optimization in the whole County and if the InfoWater Pro can have the function to optimize the placements of hydrants and valves in the network to facilitate the design and high-level planning, that wou...

Allow Customized Reports to Also Include Standard and Fireflow Results - Just Have One Result Table

Adjust VSP "Control Value" during model run with Basic Controls

Seems like a fundamental control to be able to adjust a pump's target flow rate dynamically, for a high/low flow setpoint based on tank levels or other triggers. I can currently adjust the speed setting in basic rules, but trying to hit a target f...

Account for multi-connection properties during criticality analysis

Some hospitals for example have multiple service laterals connecting them to the network. If one line is cut off from service due to a repair, the hospital can still get water. As a result, criticality is overestimated when this logic is ignored. ...
