While updating the model from GIS and importing new objects, I want a user-defined Default value column for each field. If the source GIS is missing values, or there is no appropriate field to populate, fill in the model attribute using the default value.

      Such a capability could also be used to flag which objects have been edited by specific GIS updates. The tool could apply defined text to a custom info field for any updated objects.
