inlet riser option for tank

Have an option to specify an Inlet Riser Pipe for the tank element. This would hold the fill head at a constant, set at the riser pipe elevation, but allow the tank discharge head vary with the tank level.

Document how results pfc vs r.pfc are calculated for open channels

in the long plots we ask for two capacities, we get pfc vs r.pfc for pipes they are the same , but for open channels such a trapezoidal they are different. there seems to be no literature on this.

Isolation Scenario Using Dummy Valves Which Do Not Split Pipes

Can you put a valve on top of a pipe (not splitting the pipe) and then it closes the section? And then anything enclosed to these multiple valves will be isolated? This is going to be useful for modelling of isolation scenarios

Improvements to "Edit Attributes" table

The "Edit Attributes" window (accessed by using the "Edit Selection" or "Edit Domain" buttons) is a useful table to quickly view and edit all the physical information for each facility type together. However, it has some useability issues that som...

Log locations that most often cause timestep halving during a simulation

The "Job Progress" window provides information of the location that cause multiple iterations or reduced time-steps in the 1D model, under the headings "Link fail H", "Link fail Q", "Node fail". This is useful for diagnosing potential locations of...

Flags for tracing and long section

Placing flags at any node and having a "connect" button based on network connectivity leads to a big increase in workflow productivity. Flag tracing can be very useful for long section selection, upstream tracing from pump stations, and long secti...

Modify How InfoSurge Counts Features for Licensing

We have 20,000-pipe InfoSurge licenses. We frequently have operational models larger than that, where we want to perform Surge modeling. Even if we deactivate portions of the network, InfoSurge still counts the total number of features. This waste...

New Feature is Active in All Scenarios Option (InfoWater/Pro)

Add a tools/options option so when you add new features they will be active in all scenarios, instead of getting errors 100 times for every scenario you try to run where the features were not included originally. This would be especially useful wh...

Account for multi-connection properties during criticality analysis

Some hospitals for example have multiple service laterals connecting them to the network. If one line is cut off from service due to a repair, the hospital can still get water. As a result, criticality is overestimated when this logic is ignored. ...
