The current workflow requires users to fix the data the following way:
Field inspector uploads data.
Engineer reviews inspections and notices that the IDs (ds node and us node) are incorrect in the inspection data and the field inspector needs to fix them. The engineer rejects the inspections.
The field inspector fixes all the rejected inspections in the .mdb and reuploads them.
This suggested workflow would allow the inspector to directly edit the wrong asset IDs in the platform. It would also allow anyone with full access do the same. skipping the re-import process.

Editing the underlying inspection header data directly in the application is compelling of course. This is a pragmatic workflow which will allow the condition program manager to update the inspection without the need for him/her to request the change from the contractor by re-uploading the inspection. I hesitate in supporting this 100% because we do not support change management in the app. Once a change is made there is no way in the app to reverse the edit. However, I am persuaded to be more pragmatic about this.
