Graph RTC variables

RTC variables can be useful when modelling complex systems, but while I can check individual timestep values of variables using the log, it would be helpful to be able to visualize these on a graph (and compare it with other simulation results).

Show individual vertex points in the geoplan at all zooms

Vertices are only shown in the geoplan when zoomed in. It would be useful to see these at all zoom levels for cross sections and bank lines.

Optimise Head / Discharge curves automatically for simulations

When simulating models, it is often necessary to consolidate the values in a H/Q curve to retain the hydraulic performance but optimize the simulation speed. As during previous correspondence with the InfoWorks support team, this has been advised ...

Asymmetrical Tanks

Currently ICM treats storage areas where there is a change in area at a certain level as symmetrical. This limits hydraulic modelling by constraining the structures that can be built. An option to account for asymmetry would be useful ( similar to...

simulation .elog file available via UI

Prior to ICM 2025, right clicking on the completed simulation > Open As would give access to the "simulation log", which contained useful details about the initialisation and failure reasons of the simulation. It would also contain diagnostics ...

Add a function: Dividing Polygon Objects in ICM

After creating a subcatchment polygon, there is a case where the polygon needs to be divided due to reasons such as creating a new road. In InfoWorks CS, there was a tool to divide polygons with line data, but it disappeared in ICM. Without the to...

Use tracers for water on mesh elements

Our clients are more and more trying to figure out if damage to a property is caused by water from the public area (which is the responsibility of the client) or from private areas (which is not). When rainfall on mesh can pick up a tracer (eg. fr...

Update Custom Graph functionality to cover more results

The current custom graph options, including Observed/Predicted and Flexible reports don't cover the full range of results available inside of ICM. This makes creating graphs and reporting the results difficult especially in the River and Water Qua...

Need for flexible rainfall assignment in 2D zones

In models created using ICM by Japanese users, it is not uncommon for both approaches—one where rainfall is applied to subcatchments and flood from the network flows over 2D elements, and another where rainfall is applied directly to the 2D zone—t...

It will great if we can control the display of the labels in ICM to have a better visualization.

For example : the possiblity of changing the precision in the labels (the decimal number of the value )
