Optimising Parts Mapping

The parts mapping from Civil 3D to InfoDrainage can be quite tedious. Could we not have something like a vista table to view all connections and junctions in one table to see all parts at once and be able to change e.g a whole row to a connection ...

Export of foul network to Civils 3D

Currently, the InfoDrainage plugin requires the network to be analysed/validated before it can be imported, and this is not currently an option for the foul network and therefore prevents this type of network from being exported. After speaking to...

Import Civil 3D Parts Lists to InfoDrainage

Currently, we can create parts lists in InfoDrainage and save them for reuse. However, it would be ideal if parts lists from Civil 3D could be imported directly into InfoDrainage.

Import Civil 3D surface directly to Infodrainage

Importing a Civil 3D surface directly would eliminate any errors in the conversion process, ensuring triangulations are accurate and surface boundaries are observed

Enhance STW integration into Civil

More raw data from STW Infodrainage features into Civil 3D for more design setup. Swale and Pons as an example come in as rough feature lines and very rough surfaces. Data information with it would be great.

Pipe names missing in export from Civil3D

Include parts mapping files for the UKIE country kit by default.

Across the UKIE region many designers will use the UKIE country kit for building Civil3D models, instead of everyone making their own parts map files this could be an integral part of the data exchange between two Autodesk products, included in th...

Better Interoperability options

The InfoDrainage import tool in Civil 3D forces all model elements (Pipe Networks and SWC Surfaces/Featurelines/Corridors) into a single active drawing. This conflicts with standard Civil 3D workflows where Utility and Grading designs are maintain...

Automatic Syncing for Civil3D Catchments and Infodrainage

We have been making catchments in Civil3D first and then exporting to Infodrainage. But if the catchments ever need to change , we have to change both the Civil3D catchment that houses our drainage area maps and the infodrainage inflow area. It wo...
