Interesting that someone else has asked for this. I asked for this several years ago and was advised that it wasn't possible. The Admin response hints that the reason for such a request might not have been understood.
If you have bank of simulation servers (as we do as part of a workgroup set up) you want users to always run their sims on those - much faster and more power available on the remote servers than on users' machines). The servers run 24/7. Users can switch their own machines off as and when they choose so we don't want other users distributing their sims around to machines which might be turned off unexpectedly or where the owner is wanting his machine's resource for other purposes. Using servers for simulations has been much more efficient from a licencing point of view.
