whilst InfoDrainage has pollution removal functions (percentage removal and First Order Decay), it does not currently have functions to simulate sedimentation processes and therefore, any sediment solution would have to be assessed outside to target particular sediment particles but InfoDrainage can perform the hydraulics to inform the process.

We currently have no plans to implement any sediment functions within InfoDrainage but if that changes, we will notify those interested.

Thank you for the suggestion and thanks to those who voted. Do you have a particular standard that you'd like to see implemented for the sediment basin structure in InfoDrainage.

From memory, sediment basins can be designed with a simple calculator that gives you the length/width ratio that you will need to have to target sediment particles of a particular size, is this what you had in mind?
