Currently, InfoDrainage restricts each hydrograph to a single return period, which creates inefficiencies when analyzing stormwater systems across multiple design storms. To accommodate analyses for 2-, 10-, and 100-year events, for example, users must create duplicate phases and assign a separate hydrograph for each return period. This adds unnecessary complexity, increases the potential for user error, and inflates project setup time.
Feature Request:
Enable support for multiple return periods within a single hydrograph object in InfoDrainage. This would allow users to define and analyze multiple storm events under a unified hydrograph configuration, streamlining workflows and reducing the need for redundant phase creation.
Benefits:
Simplifies project structure and phase management
Reduces setup time and potential for configuration errors
Enhances efficiency and usability, especially for large or regulatory-driven designs requiring multi-event analysis
Aligns more closely with standard engineering workflows and expectations for stormwater design
