Import Civil 3D surface directly to Infodrainage

Importing a Civil 3D surface directly would eliminate any errors in the conversion process, ensuring triangulations are accurate and surface boundaries are observed

Would it be possible to include longitudinal gradient (slope) to attenuation tanks please? At the moment it appears that software assumes that these structures are constructed flat whereas in real life these could be constructed with a gradient (slope) from the upstream end towards the outlet.

Retaining CAD files / Orphaning

When CAD files are imported to InfoDrainage they retain the link to the CAD file, like a CAD Xref which is good. However if that file is moved, or InfoDrainage cannot access it, an error box is prompted and the entire CAD file is just deleted from...

Freeboard in Results

When freeboard is exceeded from something like a basin, it is not immediately clear in the stormwater control results. It says flood risk and a water level that eats into the freeboard, but it does not flag up that this is an issue and is easily m...

Add ability to see all pipes in Network Design Report

It is not possible to view the details / preliminary results of all the connections in the Network Design Report (each flow path needs to be selected in turn). This can be awkward for large networks.

Set gradient and/or pipe size of multiple parts within a single flow path in one operation.

In some instances we need to change the gradient or pipe size of an entire flow path. It would be helpful if this could be done in one operation rather than each part individually. Any branch connections could also update to align unless locked.

Variable depth for open channels and swales

One limitation we are running into is the inability to model varying depths within swales in InfoDrainage. Often open channels will run along road corridors for example where the crest either remains at a similar elevation while the depth changes....

Optimising Parts Mapping

The parts mapping from Civil 3D to InfoDrainage can be quite tedious. Could we not have something like a vista table to view all connections and junctions in one table to see all parts at once and be able to change e.g a whole row to a connection ...
