We now support Tasks in the Activities module. Unless I get more detail about which inspections require supporting I will now close this Idea. We still need to link sub-tables for tasks so that we can support those inspections that have meta data and defect data in separate tables e.g., smoke test and smoke test defects
I think other inspection types will need their own "type", data management and visualization tools. So pCAT would be an example of this and be our first "Inspection" type for water pipe asset. But in the meantime I don't see why you could not utilize Tasks. The data I have seen is CSV and are associated to the asset.
Is this idea now superseded by the creation of 'Tasks'?
