The Catchments tool in CAD can export into ID. However, the only inputs in the Catchment tool are C-Values & TC - this is Rational Method specific but also only imports in as Time of Concentration Method in ID. Requires a manual correction. There is no option for SCS Curve Numbers in the Catchment tool to export directly into Info Drainage, so we have to manually update all of the catchments once we export the catchment boundaries. If we can get CN in the catchment tool and allow a direct export to ID, it would save a lot of time and manual input work. This would allow us to export without wiping the manual input for CN/TC from all of our catchments.

I am pleased to announce that this is already in progress as part of our IDDA work (Integrated Drainage Design and Analysis) where we're aiming to host all runoff parameters within Civil 3D so these parameters can be passed to the cloud along with rainfall parameters to generate rainfall and runoff. This will be made available to customers in increments but until then, users will still have to update the runoff parameters within InfoDrainage which will then be exposed in C3D extended dataset and these parameters will be also preserved when roundtripping with Civil 3D.
