True Ground Profile on Long Section Exports

It would be very useful if there was a way for the true ground profile to also be exported on long sections. Currently, when exporting long sections from microdrainage, the true ground levels are only shown at manhole locations and a straight line...

Manhole Schedule Numbering

For MH tables and report outputs, it would be good to have an option to report chronologically, e.g. 1-30. I understand it numbers them on the first Manhole built in the model however I think it would make more sense to go from shallowest to deep...

Weir coefficients

Expand the allowable range of weir discharge coefficients in InfoDrainage and provide an optional depth–coefficient user defined table to improve modeling flexibility and accuracy. Weir discharge coefficients (English units) typically range betwee...

Reverse Flow Direction

In cases where the pipe direction in the CAD/GIS source file is incorrect, the imported flow direction in InfoDrainage also follows the same (incorrect) path. Rather than correcting the geometry externally in CAD or GIS, is there a built-in option...

Pipe level difference in properties window

Pipe level drop (distance between upstream invert level and downstream invert level) is not listed in pipe properties (as it previously was in MicroDrainage). It would be useful as a designer may want to target a specific level drop rather than an...

CAD Data Layer Controls

When you have your CAD files in the drawing, you can control what layers show up. However, you can only select one at a time, you can't sort, and often your selections will reset. This would improve the plan view controls quite a bit.

Better Interoperability options

The InfoDrainage import tool in Civil 3D forces all model elements (Pipe Networks and SWC Surfaces/Featurelines/Corridors) into a single active drawing. This conflicts with standard Civil 3D workflows where Utility and Grading designs are maintain...

Exporting Rainfall Intensity

When trying to export rainfall data to csv it will only export the rainfall depth and there is no option to export rainfall intensity. Also the csv file created doesn't have column headings. The export feature should allow multiple storms on tabs ...

Need more inlet options

SSA has numerous inlet manufacturers and jurisdictions, including Caltrans, FDOT, Neenah, etc. These would be beneficial to have in InfoDrainage, including East Jordan inlets. Additionally, have depth vs flow curve option would be helpful as well.

Improved Workflow for Labels

Our team finds map labels quite useful, especially as they are migrating from InfoWater where the use of map labels is quite common. Although the label functionality in InfoWorks WS Pro is quite good, working with them can be slightly unintuitive ...
