I am not sure if this is currently an option that I just cant find but I thought it would be a great idea if users are able to markup and add comments to the GeoPlan. This would help with demonstrating conditions in a model in meetings and training as well as allow the modeler to create markers to keep up with adjustments they are making along the way.

I also make use of "general point" objects for this sort of thing - e.g. you can write comments in 'user text 1' (up to 100 characters), and have a custom geoplan theme that you can drag in that will show these comments as the label. I normally make use of "category" to be able to show/hide different types of general points, or have the labels appear in different colours. And also set the zoom level so that the labels disappear if you zoom out too far. Can be a tricky balancing act of getting the geoplan to display what you want without things getting too cluttered though.
Have you thought of creating/using a Workspace database object which saves the layout of your Windows (e.g. Geoplan, Profile, 3D view, data grid etc.). It also saves the theme settings, your label layout and configuration. I have actually used multiple Workspaces instead of Powerpoint slides. It is much better interactive presentation experience than simply copying the InfoWorks/InfoAsset views to a picture and then editing it in Powerpoint. I labeled each Workspace with the Slide number and simply dragged out the Workspace each time I moved onto the next "Slide". You can even create Titles to display in the Workspace. Use the Custom Label without the Callout line for the title. Individual customer labels can have different font sizes, text colour etc. I hope this is of interest.
