Using 2D mesh zones and mesh level zones can quickly get messy and difficult to visualise the changes that have been made and compare them to nearby ground levels. If there was a function to turn the ground levels of a mesh into a ground model grid file it would be really useful for seeing a proposed ground model and checking for any strange ground levels that may have been entered in error.

Thank you for the suggestion Daniel and thanks to those who voted. Our development team looked at your suggestion and here is what our engine developer (Sam J) responded with:
"if you open a 3D network window, and select 2D Zone Render - Original, you can see the levels applied to each mesh triangle, which might resolve the issue. But actually exporting mesh to ground model would be very useful in general."
I am in agreement that this could be very valuable, so I will move this to Gathering Support so we can engage in consultations with a wider array of stakeholders to gauge their interest and gather additional perspectives on the proposed feature.
Should we observe a substantial level of enthusiasm and demand, we will be inclined to advance the status of this suggestion to "Under Consideration." This stage will involve a more detailed analysis, including a feasibility study, resource allocation assessment, and preliminary planning to understand how this feature could be seamlessly integrated into the software.
