Often datasets of road gullies are only in point format and lack details on the connections to the surface water sewer network. A function to allow 1D nodes representing road gullies (which are are connected to the 2D domain with a head discharge relationship) to contribute flows to/from the 1D pipe network without having to digitise a pipe connection between them would save a lot of time, particularly for large datasets. This could be automated to drain the gullies to the nearest manhole and have a similar field to the 'drains to' field in subcatchments. TUFLOW has a similar functionality using the command 'pit search distance'.
