The InfoDrainage import tool in Civil 3D forces all model elements (Pipe Networks and SWC Surfaces/Featurelines/Corridors) into a single active drawing. This conflicts with standard Civil 3D workflows where Utility and Grading designs are maintained in separate.dwg files.
Users are forced to manually extract and transfer SWC Surfaces from the Utility file to the Grading file, causing file bloat and data synchronization errors.
Add an "Object Filter" step to the Import Wizard that allows users to:
• Import only Pipe Networks (while in a Utility drawing).
• Import only SWC Surfaces (while in a Grading drawing).
