Calculating and adding the Froude number to storm table output

Many municipalities and utilities want to maintain subcritical flow in the storm sewer system and avoid hydraulic jumps. The Froude number is used to establish subcritical vs. supercritical flow.

Sort and collapse all option in flowpath Network Design Report

It would be useful to be able to ‘collapse all’ for branches in the Network Design Report. It would also be useful to be able to sort the connections (and junctions) in order of upstream→downstream or alpha/numeric. At the moment it seems rather a...

Show catchment areas of non-current phases

It is useful to be able to see the catchment areas of non-current phases if they have visibility switched on. For example, to make sure that a whole site with multiple outfalls has the total catchment digitised with no gaps.

Enable 3d view of two phases (foul and surface) simultaneously to help resolve clashes found in clash analysis.

Clash Analysis identifies pipes touching, which may be in different phases. The ability to view both phases in 3D View (as you can in Plan View) would make resolving the clashes much more efficient.

Point and line source objects for flooding 2D Analysis

I would like to assess the site and drainage network for flooding from a particular source that does not originate from a surcharged network. ICM has both of these objects available. The idea would be to connect a base flow, hydrograph or catchmen...

Vary infiltration with depth

Cannot currently use the software for deisgn of borehole soakaways. By their very nature they wil have varying infiltration rates. Usually the infiltration is at greatest depth and no way of modelling with correct head in borehole.

Allow underdrains to receive upstream flows from a pipe. Repair inflows to SuDS.

The SuDS nodes do not allow the inflows from an upstream pipe to connect directly to the underdrains. There are only options to connect them through no delays to subsurface areas (i.e. in bioretention nodes) or as a point inflow (i.e. filter drain...

Show manhole types in manhole schedule export

Manhole schedules need to feature cover types (D400, C250 etc), manhole types (Type A, B, C in Scotland etc) and whether they're a backdrop or a headwall etc. Having a feature to assign this based on location on site (cover type), depth to soffit ...

Export non-connected catchment objects

Currently Civil 3D will not export a catchment object unless is connect to a structure/junction. It should export all catchment objects regardless of if they are connected to a structure/junction.
