Historical work management tasks are very useful when conducting decision making for an asset. One example is, a user might want to know if there is a 'Planned' work order for a pipe already or if a work order has been conducted after CCTV was conducted. Some users might want to know how many times a pipe has been repaired in the past or how many SSOs have been related to the asset. In a water distribution system, it is useful to analyze count of breaks, leaks, per mileage or footage of pipe. All these work management tasks typically come from a CMMS system or from historical databases, spreadsheets, etc.
In InfoAsset Planner the Work Manager window displays this information with only a few fields that are needed to accomplish the analyses described above. The fields suggested are:
Work Order ID
Work Order Type
Facility ID
Status
Start Date
Finish Date
Field Operator
For a first pass of this feature, just being able to display the history of this Asset under the work history should be sufficient.
For the next stage, the user should be able to query things like work order date, type, and status in a Rehab tree.
Finally, summary statistics such as "Count of work orders" or "Count of work orders per length" of a specific type should be available for Risk Analysis.
