Two ideas:
1.GIS supported queries only work with .shp format. To avoid data transformations it would be useful to work with geodatabase feature classes too.
2. We would like to see all ICM GIS search types included in Infoworks WS Pro. We missed the 'nearest' search type.
Thanks

Good news! This just came out in WS Pro 2024.2.
We now support SQL Queries to use both background GIS and Network layers with all the options of ICM like "Nearest."
Currently geodatabases are supported through import/export, or they can be added to the map if using a Thales license with a 32bit UI. We are working on improved GIS interactions with ESRI data to further support geodatabases in our primary 64bit versions.
