Are you aware that you can open Selectoin Lists in a grid view, modify the objects through deletion or pasting in new IDs, and then save the changes? When you close it will prompt you to save if there are detected changes.
Similarly you can drag a selection set onto the GeoPlan, modify the selection, then save the current selection on top of the List to overwrite it with the updates.
I think there's still room for improvement with these two approaches, but let us know if that works for you and if there are any further ideas or requests.
