Now that the Subgrid Sampling Methodology has been implemented, it would be very useful to be able to maximize this capability being able to export the results at the finest resolution.
At the current stage, subgrid just lives inside of the ICM GUI. However, it would be useful to be able to export the result maps, either as shp or even better as raster.
As per analogy with HEC-RAS, which allows visualising the results at the resolution of the terrain used in RAS Mapper and then exporting what is rendered as Tiff or shp. ( for reference https://www.hec.usace.army.mil/confluence/rasdocs/rmum/7.0/mapping-results/mapping-options).
This would be very crucial to get the best out of urban areas, where often high-resolution DTMs are available, without making the simulation exponentially heavier by brutally reducing the size of the computational mesh.
