When building networks with multiple similar sections, it would be incredibly useful to have more tools for manipulating the geometry of selected objects, primarily a rotation tool and an invert/flip tool (e.g. swap the orientation of the nodes either side of a link). This way, users can copy/paste similar sections, and used the expanded tool list to make the micro adjustments needed, rather than needing to rebuild similar sections from the ground up.
This would also avoid users need to delete and rebuild network sections because they accidentally build them mirrored, for example.
Thank you for raising this and thanks to those who voted. I agree that adding rotation and flipping to our polygons in ICM is important and will make life easy for users.
I will progress the status of this idea to "Gathering Support" so we gauge the interest from the wider ICM community.
