Slot Width field for 1D conduits

Could the Slot Width field be enabled for Conduit Type "Conduit" and results generated by the application of the numerical correction tool been stored there for greater clarity, thanks.

Thanks for the idea! The slot width field is used to define the width of the drain when using a 2D conduit. Are you after a field to define  preissmann slot?

I very much agree with moving storage compensation calculations out of the notes field. The width of the Preissmann slot is invisible to modellers so its potential effect can easily be overlooked..

Hi Sophia, thanks for your response. Yes, I meant the priessmann slot, apologies for the confusion. On a broader subject and following discussion with other modellers, it seems everybody would like the key parameters calculated by the storage compensation and the numerical correction (e.g. priessmann slot width and pipe average depth to soffit) to be stored in dedicated columns instead of in the notes field. Hope this helps and thank you again

Following Tom's comment, it would be very useful to use the existing Slot Width field and to add some extra fields for the essential Numerical Correction information, this to make all more visible and ready-to-use

Agree with this, the placing of storage compensation calculations in the notes field needs moving as its clashing with important modelling commentary.
