We have clients and models where there may be 15 to 20 different pipe sizes in their distribution system – It is extremely beneficial to be able to individually color-code and size-code them with symbology for easy reference.
We used to be able to do this when it was “Map Display”, before “Map Themes” became the new display engine.
Thank you for submitting this recommendation. We have heard this from others as well and we are planning to raise the limit to 50 in a future release.
In the meantime, you can workaround this issue by creating an ArcGIS Pro Symbology Sub-Theme. These offer much more power with the native symbology tools, so you can size it based on diameter, color it based on another field like pressure zone, and label it with custom text that hides as you zoom out.
