in MicroDrainage, when designing a pipe network there was a table below the main design table giving results, with Pipe flow and pipe capacity, (amongst others) this was useful to identify where to increase pipe diameters if nearing the capacity of the pipe.
InfoDrainage would be better served if included all the features of the software its replacing as standard - as such we are still having to use MD for majority of project work.

Hello Javier,
Thanks for your response.
Would using the "Network Design Wizard" option to the already sized and designed network cause the system to be re-designed?
We had initially use the "Network Design Wizard" methodology but it was not producing results we would like and so had to adjust some pipes manually and so we do not want to re-design it now but just want to check full bore capacity (or maximum capacity) of the pipes.
I did not run the "Network Design Wizard" but I checked the Flexible Reporting, under the Connections -> Pipe-> Rational Results section (InfoD version 2026.3) and could only see zeros for some reason ' despite the model being run with various storms?
Thanks

Hi Arek,
Many thanks for getting in touch. In order for InfoDrainage to be able to populate these values please make sure that:
- you have created the flow path/s of the section/s you want to check capacity for
- you have defined a "Network Design Criteria", under the "Preliminary Sizing" ribbon. This acts just like the Microdrainage "Network Design Criteria", and enables you to obtain Rational Method results for the specified storm.
- Rational method results should be visible in both the Network Design Report and Flexible Reporting, under the Connections -> Pipe-> Rational Results section
If you are still getting zeros, run the "Network Design Wizard", under the "Preliminary Sizing" ribbon
Hi Guys, I know its been a while but I tried that routine in InfoD ver. 2026.3 and it was not providing any values (only zeros) under these columns?
Is this feature still working in 2026.3?
Cheers
Capacity and Flow values are available in the Design Wizard Reports but that used to be fragmented pipe info in many different places and now I am pleased to announce that as part of Flexible Reporting Part 2 released in InfoDrainage 2025.2, we have addressed this request as users are now able to create tables that contain the pipe ID with capacities and Flow values - see following screenshot

Thank you for the suggestion and thanks to those who voted/commented.
This is now under consideration for future development.
