Expand the allowable range of weir discharge coefficients in InfoDrainage and provide an optional depth–coefficient user defined table to improve modeling flexibility and accuracy. Weir discharge coefficients (English units) typically range between 2.65 and 3.10. For most storm system applications, where weirs are sharp-crested, a coefficient of 3.0 is often used as a default assumption when detailed weir specifications and hydraulic conditions are unavailable.
Currently, InfoDrainage limits the maximum weir coefficient to 0.7, which is significantly lower than values commonly applied in practice. This limitation may lead to inaccuracies in stormwater system modeling.
