Closing files before import CAD data

When trying to import CAD files for your background, you have to close the files in CAD for them to open in ID. This becomes a tedious task of opening and closing when you have errors trying to import the file. We get errors quite often due to something buried in the file that sometimes takes a while to locate.

Thank you for the suggestion and thanks to those who voted. I agree, it is annoying to have to close the CAD file when importing it.

We will engage in consultations with a wider array of stakeholders to gauge their interest and gather additional perspectives on the proposed feature.

Should we observe a substantial level of enthusiasm and demand from our customers, we will be inclined to advance the status of this suggestion to "Under Consideration."

This stage will involve a more detailed analysis, including a feasibility study, resource allocation assessment, and preliminary planning to understand how this feature could be seamlessly integrated into InfoDrainage.
