After simulation and there is flooding, trying to upsize the pipes, if the wizard is run again it reverts to the previous diameter, i dont want to lock (ALL) as i still want to use the wizard to lower the inverts etc, downstream.

Hi Steven, thanks for the clarification, I will move the status of the idea of adding a lock to the pipe diameter only to "Gathering Support" where we will engage in consultations with a wider array of stakeholders to gauge their interest and gather additional perspectives on the proposed feature. Should we observe a substantial level of enthusiasm and demand from our customers, we will be inclined to advance the status of this suggestion to "Under Consideration."
This stage will involve a more detailed analysis, including a feasibility study, resource allocation assessment, and preliminary planning to understand how this feature could be seamlessly integrated into InfoDrainage.
On locking pipe diameters only in MicroDrainage, I don't think that we had such a function, yes sometimes pipe diameters will go red whilst the invert is still blue but as soon as the capacity of that diameter is exceeded, the software will ignore the red value and make it blue (see attached video and check pipe 105.001) - please get back to me if I misunderstood anything, I'd be interested to know if this has actually worked in MicroDrainage, however, that is a minor detail anyway and has nothing to do with the outcome of the where this suggestion is heading. I will monitor the interest in having a pipe diameter lock and will act accordingly.
that just confuses matters, especially having a large number of flow paths in a large network, and to have a break in a longer path, with flow paths are clunky at the best of times , Microdrainage had a pipe lock function ( over-type the pipe diameter and it went red) and it stayed that diameter even after using the optimisation. a simple addition to the drop down lock menu, to add diameter would be cleaner.
Thank you for the suggestion and thanks to those who voted.
You can still create a Flow Path made of one or two pipes and run the wizard on these two pipes only so the network will remain unaffected.
Give that a go and let us know how you get on!
