A paramount feature of this tool lies in its capability to incorporate P&IDs or PFDs in PDF format. Presently, there exists a limitation wherein P&IDs or PFDs cannot be uploaded as PDFs. The ability to upload PDFs would be transformative, resulting in a profound and far-reaching impact.
Had a conversation with an ADSK Plant 3D specialist who confirmed the impact of this idea. Even better would be if we could import directly from ACC or from .dwg's. Imagine a pump is designed and a flow meter is added to that pump with a specific tag in the .dwg or P&ID. Info360 Insight could import not only the more dynamic PDF and/or .dwg, but also the flow meter information to be configured for time series data import.
