WS Pro currently support adding, switching, and deleting scenarios via WSOpenNetwork methods - but there is limited access to scenarios beyond this such as editing comments, or viewing which objects have been added, modified, or removed. I think this would be useful for some types of automation, such as archiving the data from old scenarios.
Several new ruby script methods have been introduced in 2026.2 to further enable data management:
Compare and compare_scenarios – Enables teams to find all differences between two networks or two scenarios, similar to the compare tools in the UI.
duplicate_scenario_into_network – Enables teams to quickly extract and share a scenario into a new flattened copy of a Network and Control.
reintegrate_scenario – Reintegrates selected scenario as the new Base.
