I would like to request an enhancement regarding an issue that occurs when importing xpswmm models into ICM.
Normally in ICM, when land use and runoff surface settings are shared across multiple subcatchments, a single land use ID is used for all relevant subcatchments. However, when importing a model from xpswmm into ICM, even if the land use and runoff surface settings are identical across multiple subcatchments, they are imported with separate IDs for each subcatchment. As a result, land use and runoff surface entries with the same settings are registered under different IDs, which significantly increases the number of data entries. Could you please improve the functionality so that land use and runoff surface settings with identical configurations are imported using the same ID?
This issue appears to have started with ICM version 11.0. Because of this, until now we have avoided the problem by using versions earlier than v11.0 when importing xpswmm models into ICM. However, under Autodesk's subscription license, only ICM versions from v2023.0 onward are available, which prevents us from avoiding this issue under the current subscription license.

Thank you for letting us know. We’re glad to hear that this issue has been addressed in ICM 2026, and we have confirmed the improvement ourselves. Your advice is much appreciated.
This should be better in ICM 2026 as only IF there is different hydrology values per subcatchments are additional runoff surface made. You would be better of not using ICM 11, IMO.
