Import Z value from CAD/SIG 3D line to the Bridge Opening table of a 2D Bridge structure

When creating a user defined opening, it is really painfull to use the table editor. Why do not create an import feature that import X,Y an Z value from a 3D CAD line (such as the soffit CAD line) into the opening table property ? It will simplify a lot the opening creation which requieres to switch constantly from X,Y coordinates to distance offset value.
