We have a large project running for several years and our design team is working in one coordinate frame. Our clients models are all in another coordinate frame. Our team would like to reproject the models into the design coordinate frame but there is no easy way of doing this. Currently, we are exporting the models to TAB files (table by table) and importing them again after changing the coordinate system. This is time consuming and introduces a lot of potential for human error. There is also no way to (I know of) to maintain all the scenarios so we are having to do some rework to build scenarios again which costs a lot to in terms of human hours.
It would be good if there was a function that allows models to be converted from one coordinate frame to another. This would save us a lot of time and frustration with the software.
