It would be really nice to add a pipe properties management table to help manage roughness factors and wave speeds. This is a feature in KyPipe: Surge and it is extremely helpful when assigning wave speeds to pipelines. The table classifies pipe types based on diameter, materials, pressure ratings, etc. Then you can fill in roughness factors, wave speeds, or other important settings. These are then automatically applied to the model based on the input for each pipeline.
The current method I have found to apply wave speeds based on pipe material and diameter requires the use of database queries and is extremely tedious and time consuming.

Thank you for your suggestion. You raise a good point that editing data across tables is not an easy workflow currently within InfoWater Pro.
In the meantime, I believe what many modelers do is to leverage Excel. You could for example copy and past your Pipe information table to Excel with material, thickenss, roughness, etc., estimate your wave speeds there, then paste the two columns of pipe ID and wave speed into the Pipe Surge Data table. I hope this can save you some time for now over using database queries.
