Steady state simulations are useful for 1) evaluating an initial or simplified version of a model (for example with average demands) or 2) evaluating a specific condition (like maximum demand, etc.) without much complexity. If your model is already set up to run extended period simulations, running the steady state version at time zero (current approach) is not very helpful. It would be very useful to have more options, like:
At a specific time (not just 00:00)
With base demands only (no demand pattern multipliers)
With averaged demands (average pattern multipliers for a given duration)
