This is an issue that laisse inside ArcGIS Pro where moving the information of large maps and layers between threads may take some time. This has negatively impacted the InfoWater Pro performance, where simple tasks like enlarging domains or switching scenarios could take up to several minutes where the same task would have been performed in a matter of seconds on regular InfoWater. The Development Team identified a workaround to the issue with the introduction of the “Conditioned Table-Join” in InfoWater Pro 3.0.
Testing has proven significant performance which also scales up nicely for the large networks and it does not affect performance when dealing will smaller systems. Nothing changes for the end-user but performance increases ranges between 60 to 80% depending on model size.
