I teach InfoDrainage and have had multiple students now express the desire to have the Temporal Distribution be optional. The response has been based on location where some (such as FL) liked this extra level of detail. Others (in dryer areas) expressed they would not want to use this and wish this could have a toggle option of not assigning anything.

Temporal Distribution defines how rainfall is distributed over a storm duration and is required for Dynamic analysis, as the engine needs a hyetograph. However, it is not required for Static analysis using the Modified Rational method as this uses peak intensity from IDF data instead. This can be toggled under Analysis Criteria, in the Analysis ribbon
