Trapezoidal weirs can be far more efficient as outlet structure devices than rectangular or v-notch weirs. I suppose using a rectangular and v-notch weir at the same time achieves the same goal, if you view a trapezoid as just a rectangular with two halves of the same triangle on either side, but adding a separate trapezoidal weir would be more reviewer friendly. This was already a feature of SSA, so I would imagine the implementation would be fairly simple
