Resolve Design Wizard automatically introducing and accepting negative gradients along runs

The current design wizard in InfoDrainage, even when all design criteria are set to standard, allows for negative gradients to be included within the model and can often be missed without careful inspection or auditing. This then relies on going through every flow path with a fine toothcomb and sifting through gradients which become particularly with larger pipes/gradients. Should implement warning symbols visually along pipe to raise awareness as opposed to relying on reviewing multiple flow paths of which there may be many.

The Network Design Wizard in InfoDrainage is currently ineffective for our workflows, and we find manual network design is both quicker and more reliable. This is disappointing given that the equivalent tool in MicroDrainage performed well and enabled efficient design workflows. The loss of this functionality represents a significant reduction in productivity.

    Hi Kyle,

thanks for taking the time to provide feedback and submit an idea.

Improvements to the Design Wizard are part of our roadmap, and will be starting to work on this in the near future. When the time comes and if you are up for it, I would be more than happy to share with you a first iteration of the renovated tool to see what you think and what other improvements we could make.
