If you change a pipe diameter or gradient, it will not accommodate these changes in the downstream section of the network. For example upsizing and steepening a pipe in the middle of a run will mean the next pipeis undersized and goes uphill. It also does not change the d/s pipe to be soffit-soffit, even though this is set in the the design criteria. This is not flagged in Analysis > Validation. You could pick it up by using Preliminary Design > Network Design Report > Perform Audit button, will highlight the pipe has 0 capacity if uphill. But that's it as far as I know.
