Although there is a workaround for this, I am pleased to announce that this is now under consideration and it's being discussed internally for future implementation.

You can toggle IFD to save the SWMM5 INP file and SWMM5 RPT file to a folder. Once in the folder, you can use the input file with SWMM5. Of course, any extra sections for IFD will not be used in SWMM5 but ignored. Here is a KCS article in the IFD help file that explains this https://knowledge.autodesk.com/article/How-to-enable-RPT-and-INP-files-for-InfoDrainage
