Option to adjust the opacity/transparency of background networks

it would be useful to apply a % opacity/transparency to background networks, without the need to adjust the individual visibility in the Layer and Theme tab. It would also be useful to have the option in the GIS layer control, for individual loaded layers

Hi Richard. So you are asking for a visibility override at the ENTIRE theme level.

      Best wishes

      Tony

Its the latter but our theming is complex and we would need to manually adjust 142 link variables and 105 node theming variables so a visibility override would be far more efficient and less time consuming.

      Kind Regards

      Richard

If background GIS Layer there is a "Translucency" option when you open the GIS Layer Control > Properties > Click on the Display Properties > Override Styles > Click on the little graphic which should launch the Style Editor and you can choose the % Translucency which will achieve what you are asking for. All of these settings are saved when you create a Layer List.

If you are referring to an InfoAsset Manager Background Layer in ICM then right click in the ICM Geoplan and Choose Background Properties and Themes > this is the standard dialog you will recognise from InfoAsset Manager. You can then choose the Visibility option when creating a theme.

Hi Richard - no apology needed. Are you referring to the background GIS layers rather than Background Networks - which in the case of InfoWorks ICM would be an InfoAsset Manager network?

      Apologies,
      InfoAsset Manager and ICM

      Kind Regards

Richard - which product are you referring to? This has come through via Info360 Asset forum.
