As a User and Manager of a team that depends heavily on Innovyze products, either Slack or Discord server, and StackExchange (ideally both) set up by Innovyze to facilitate cooperation and knowledge sharing with other Innovyze users would greatly facilitate our team's ability to gain new capabilities. Having a platform like Slack or Discord would essentially be a social network for knowledge sharing and question answering for any Innovyze user to quickly interface with the community for asking questions or sharing documents containing workflows, SOP, best practices, SQL queries, etc. At the moment, if anyone on our team has a question about the best way to get something done in IAM or InfoWorks, then we have to figure it out ourselves or find a work around. This is a time sink that often puts important work off and inhibits our learning process. It would be especially helpful when creating queries, importing or exporting new data types, starting to learn new workflows, and interfacing Innovyze products with other platforms. Being able to pick the brains of other Innovyze users in a collaborative environment like Slack or Discord, and archive well done answers on a StackExchange would greatly increase our team's capabilities in these regards as we would be able to reach out to others who have experience in creating similar applications or workarounds to what we may be stuck on.
